Floor Mats, Carpets And Area Rugs

I am still searching for some beautiful and nice floor mats, carpets and can consider area rugs as well. I hope to find something like this below for my kids’ playroom.
The kids can then sit on it while enjoying their toys, or while reading books. I shall therefore save up in buying tables for them.
As for my kitchen, I need something to prevent slippery as water often splashed onto the floor while I am washing. But, can rugs work here? I will check for more designs from the website. I want something modernise as my cabinets are in red.
